Line Items
Line items are the products and services used on a job, like hours, fuel, or equipment. Adding them makes sure the job is billed correctly.
To add line items:
- When you slide Complete on a job, the Line items panel opens.
- Tap Product / Service and choose an item from the list.
- Enter the Qty. If your account shows rates, the Rate may fill in automatically.
- To add another item, tap + Add line item.
- When you're done, tap the button at the bottom of the panel to save.
If no line items apply, tap Skip.
To remove a line item, tap the red × next to it.
Need to add or change something later? You can update line items any time until the job is submitted for approval. Open the job, scroll to Line Items, and make your changes.
Good to know: Depending on your account, you may not see rates on line items. That's normal. Your office sees the rates when the job is reviewed.
Don't see the item you need? Ask your supervisor or dispatcher to add it. You can type in a new item name, but it's only added to that one job, isn't saved for future use, and may not match your company's billing rates. Only do this if you've been told to.
